Landstown prevails over First Colonial
On Monday, May 20, the First Colonial Patriots faced off against the Landstown Eagles. The Landstown Eagles out-maneuvered the First Colonial Patriots 5-3, to walk away with the win.
The loss brought First Colonial's conference record to 7-10, while Landstown's record rose to 5-6.
Kellam triumphs over Tallwood
On Monday, the Kellam Knights also hosted the Tallwood Lions at home. The Kellam Knights ultimately out-maneuvered the Lions in a 4-0 win.
After this victory, Kellam remained undefeated with a conference record of 16-0, while Tallwood's record fell to 8-4.
Kempsville dominates Green Run
The Green Run Stallions traveled this week to face off against the Kempsville Chiefs on Monday. Kempsville's home field advantage paid off: They walked away with the 20-0 victory.
This continues a twelve-game conference losing streak for the Green Run Stallions, whose record fell again on Monday to 0-12. Kempsville's conference record became 8-2.
Princess Anne outsmarts Salem
Also on Monday, the Salem Sundevils lost to the Princess Anne Cavaliers by a score of 15-7.
The loss brought Salem's conference record to 2-6, while Princess Anne's record rose to 4-8.
Kellam dominates Cox
On Tuesday, the Kellam Knights hosted the Cox Falcons. The Knights walked away with the win, beating the Cox Falcons soundly, 14-0.
Following this win, Kellam remained undefeated with a conference record of 17-0, while Cox's record fell to 4-10.
Kempsville strikes out Salem
The Kempsville Chiefs triumphed over the Salem Sundevils 18-2 at home on Tuesday.
The win brought Kempsville's conference record to 9-2, while Salem's record fell to 2-7.
First Colonial triumphs over Bayside
Tuesday also saw the First Colonial Patriots face off against the Bayside Marlins. The First Colonial Patriots wrangled a victory from the visiting Patriots, 7-5. Although they lost, the Bayside Marlins added 10 hits, while Bayside added eight. The Patriots scored one home run, adding to their total of five this season.
The win brought First Colonial's conference record to 8-10, while Bayside's record fell to 8-6.
