Next up is Orbit Coffee & Doughnuts. On its menu, you'll find dark chocolate, glazed and powdered doughnuts, as well as "sconuts" — a combination of scones and doughnuts.

The spot also offers a variety of hot and iced caffeinated beverages, including Vietnamese-style coffee. And if you're craving something savory before diving into your doughnut, Orbit also offers breakfast burritos and grilled cheese.

The new spot is off to a promising start, with a current Yelp rating of four stars out of nine reviews.

Yelper Kathy L., who reviewed the shop on May 27, wrote, "Amazing doughnuts! My favorite was the maple glazed sconut. Surprisingly, the scone was light and airy, and the glaze was perfectly sweet."

Andrea D. noted, "A great new local business, and food and coffee were delicious too."

Orbit Coffee & Doughnuts is open from 7 a.m.–4 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)

Last but not least, check out I Scream Donuts, which specializes in doughnut ice cream sandwiches, featuring a warm doughnut stuffed with your choice of ice cream. The ice cream is also available on its own in a cup, cone or milkshake — flavors include lavender, apple pie and vegan chocolate.

With a five-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp, I Scream Donuts has attracted local fans.

Yelper Audrey J. wrote, "This place is absolutely delicious! My friend and I split the blueberry doughnut sammy after trying several of the delicious flavors."

Stephen P. noted, "I had the geranium flavor and my friend had the cinnamon cookie crunch. Both flavors in the doughnuts were mouthwateringly tasty. The simple glazed doughnut really heightened the ice cream flavors. It was such a good sweet treat."

I Scream Donuts is open from 4–10 p.m. daily.
