Chef Xiong - Taste of Szechuan serves up traditional spicy Szechuan food as well as non-spicy dishes, according to the website. Look for the Silky Tofu in Yolk Sauce and the Fish Filet in Pickled Vegetable Soup on the menu.

Chef Xiong - Taste of Szechuan has proven popular thus far, with a four-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.

Jerry H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 20, wrote, "I tried the Taiwanese popcorn chicken and the mapo tofu just to get a feel for some more standard dishes. The popcorn chicken was some of the best I've ever had in a U.S. restaurant. It was crispy on the outside, coated in a deliciously spicy dry rub and juicy on the inside."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Chef Xiong - Taste of Szechuan is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. daily.
