A new Cuban and Spanish spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 558 Grand Concourse in Concourse Village, the new addition is called Zona De Cuba.
This new business specializes in "simple ingredients that are authentically Cuban and widely used within the Spanish Caribbean," according to its website. On the menu, look for seafood empanadas, sweet plantain rolls with spiced beef, a black bean soup and more.
Zona De Cuba has received mixed reviews thus far, with a three-star rating out of 137 reviews on Yelp.
Tahera Z., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 17, wrote, "This place is gorgeous! The food was good. I had a chicken and rice dish that was massive. The drinks were also great."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Zona De Cuba is open from 4 p.m.–2 a.m. on Monday-Thursday, 5 p.m.–2 a.m. on Friday and noon–2 a.m. on weekends.
