Local fans of grocery stores are in luck. A new Trader Joe's outpost has opened up shop at 2101 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Suite A, in Glover Park.

A long line of people and a marching band awaited the opening of the new store on July 19. The chain grocery sells everything from Mandarin orange chicken to its own brand of coffee to wine, bakery items, cheese and produce.

The new locale has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Anisha T., who was among the first to review the new store, wrote, “Their wine selection is large; they even have upscale brands and half bottles available. Their cheese is plentiful, and they have tons of pre-made/frozen meals available. The produce is fresh and inexpensive.”

And Grace L. wrote, "Everything was clean and sparking, the people were friendly and the shelves were full of delicious goodies."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Trader Joe's is open from 8 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
