Fans of Mexican food, rejoice: There's a new taqueria in Rockridge, a neighborhood in need of a few more taco joints. The fresh addition, called Porque No? Tacos, is located at 5337 College Ave.

Porque No? Tacos is a breakfast and lunch pop-up, sharing space with Peruvian restaurant Pucquio, which only serves dinner. The newcomer offers breakfast favorites like chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and breakfast burritos, as well as a full lunch menu with tacos, burritos, sandwiches and quesadillas.

The restaurant has a perfect score on Yelp so far, with a five-star rating out of 14 reviews.

Blue A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 8, wrote, "By far some of the best food I have had! The huevos rancheros were delicious, with the perfect amount of spice and quality ingredients. The horchata was delicious. Everybody there was so friendly and welcoming."

And Shayla B. wrote, "I know authentic Mexican food when I taste it. This is it. This is that spot that the Ridge has been needing for so long. Delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Porque No? Tacos is open from 5 a.m.–2 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday.
