Hungry? A new neighborhood kosher restaurant has you covered. The fresh arrival, called Burnt Offerings, is located at 3909 W. Sahara Ave.

Burnt Offerings serves what it describes as New Yiddish cuisine. Among the specialties are traditional chicken matzoh ball soup, barbecued brisket, pierogis with ground brisket, pastry and beef bacon-wrapped beef hot dogs and a variety of burgers.

Burnt Offerings has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.

Howard S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 12, wrote, "Everything we ordered was a smash hit. The boneless chicken wings were lighter yet tastier. The dipping sauce was perfect."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Burnt Offerings is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday-Wednesday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Thursday and 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on Friday. (It's closed on Saturday.)
