The cheapest flights between Newark and San Antonio are if you leave on Sept. 17 and return from Texas on Sept. 21. United currently has tickets for $186, roundtrip.

There are also deals to be had in November. If you fly out of Newark on Nov. 16 and return from San Antonio on Nov. 19, United can get you there and back for $216, roundtrip.
