Looking for the best new cocktail bars in San Francisco? One of these new spots might be just what you're seeking. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in search of a new cocktail bar near you.

Elda

3198 16th St., Mission

Elda is a bar serving Latin-inspired cocktails and small plates.

Taking over the storefront of now-shuttered Bar San Pancho, Elda offers 10 different specialty cocktails highlighting spirits like mezcal, tequila and Oaxacan rum. Check out the Desert Drifter, made with tequila and strawberry-sage shrub, or the Devil Winds, a gin martini variation finished with smokey amaro.

For drinkers with an appetite, Elda serves Mexican- and Caribbean-style bar food, like tacos with carnitas or summer squash, chicken tostadas with black sesame mole, and a Jamaican beef patty with plantain dip. Up on the mezzanine level of this new spot, you'll find a private bar called Cheeky's, which is available to rent for events and parties.

With a 4.5-star Yelp rating out 13 reviews, patrons are giving Elda some positive attention.

Yelper Zachary T., who reviewed Elda on July 16, wrote, "What a difference from the previous incarnation! The owners here are boss bartenders in their own right, but they went out and hired some other G bartenders to hold down what should continue to build buzz as one of the best cocktail/kick-it spots in the city."

Elda is open from 4 p.m.–2 a.m. daily.

Lost and Found is a cocktail bar in the Parkside offering updated takes on classic drinks.

The venture comes from a team of partners from local spots Pa’ina, Carbon Grill, Trademark, Novela and Hometown Heroes. This cozy bar has a chic, speakeasy interior, with neon lights and vintage wallpaper. On the cocktail list, you'll find the Mission Dolores Margarita with pineapple juice and chili, the Great Highway mezcal sour and the Grant Avenue Old Fashioned, which is made with rye, homemade berry syrup and Chinese five-spice bitters. There's beer and wine, too, as well as bar snacks like wings and garlic fries.

Yelp users are excited about Lost and Found, which currently holds five stars out of 17 reviews on the site.

Yelper Andrew V., who reviewed Lost and Found on July 28, wrote, "Overall, this is a nice neighborhood bar. I even saw other locals coming in here. They are off to a good start, and I am definitely going to be coming here more in the future."

Alex O. added, "I don't drink, but I'm coming back for the atmosphere, the music, the five-spice chicken wings and the neon lights."

Lost and Found is open from 5 p.m.–1 a.m. on Monday-Thursday, 5 p.m.–2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon–1 a.m. on Sunday.

Peacekeeper is a Oaxacan-themed cocktail bar.

This spot offers up a rotating list of agave-forward cocktails. Try the Big E-Z, made with mezcal, Aperol, honey and lemon, or the Goddaughter, with tequila and berry shrub. Other drinks like the Desert Queen, made with bourbon and ancho chili, combine Mexican flavors and classic American cocktail spirits, and there's a full list of draft beer and wine, too. In keeping with the theme, guests are treated to free chips and salsa, and the bar's open, airy interior features a retractable skylight in the ceiling.

Peacekeeper's current rating of four stars out of 52 reviews on Yelp indicates the newcomer is finding its way, but it's still early days.

Yelper Nicholas J., who was one of the first users to visit Peacekeeper on July 22, wrote, "The ambiance is truly innovative, with an open ceiling and concrete details. ... Their cocktails, however, are the showstoppers."

Yelper Elizabeth L. added, "Perfect summer bar, with a relaxing, breezy vibe."

Peacekeeper is open from 2 p.m.–2 a.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m.–2 a.m. on weekends.
