The eatery, which opened up shop in 2010, says it uses "all-natural, pasture-raised beef (no hormones, no antibiotics) that is ground daily and hand-formed into 5-ounce patties," per its website.

On the menu, you'll find a mushroom burger, a bacon cheeseburger, fries, milkshakes and more.

The burger joint serves up turkey burgers, veggie burgers, pastrami burgers and more, but there's also grilled cheese, patty melts, hot dogs and chicken wings.

Yelper Michelle L. wrote, "The burgers here are delicious, hearty and filling. Especially for Oakland, the burgers are fairly cheap as well."

And then there's Emil's Burger and Breakfast, a Fruitvale Station favorite with four stars out of 81 reviews. Stop by 3301 E. 12th St., Suite 121 (between 33rd and 34th avenues), to hit up the breakfast and brunch spot next time you're looking to satisfy your cravings on a budget.

Here, you'll find a jalapeño burger, teriyaki burger, chili burger, Hawaiian burger, Western burger and more. There are also curly fries, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches and breakfast options on the menu.

Aubrie R. wrote about her experience on Yelp, saying, "We ordered a couple of one-third-pound burgers, fries and onion rings. The bun was soft and warm, the burger was delish, the fries crispy and hot [and] crunchy onion rings made our lunch incredible."
