Seven Stills expands to the Mission with craft beer, fried chicken sandwiches and morePhoto: Seven Stills/Yelp

Heads up, craft beer fans: Brewery/distillery Seven Stills has opened a new Mission location, in the former Almanac Taproom at 2704 24th St. (at Potrero Ave.)

The outpost is the third for Seven Stills, which already has taprooms in Bayview and the Outer Sunset. Its new 18,000-square-foot flagship distillery and bar is slated to debut in Mission Bay in September — just in time for the opening of the Chase Center.

Seven Stills brews its own beers and distills them into whiskey, but due to a liquor license issue, only the former will be available at this new Mission location. Expect seven different Seven Stills beers on draft, from the Paloma grapefruit kettle sour to the Champagne Wishes brut double IPA.

The menu is focused on elevated pub grub, like wings with sweet and sour sauce, a double cheeseburger with garlic aioli, and a fried chicken sandwich topped with spicy slaw. Brunch is offered on weekends from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., with dishes like masa waffles and a breakfast burrito.

With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Tommy H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 2, wrote, "Love this place! We went on a Friday night, and it was lively, with a fun atmosphere. The burgers were delicious, beers were tasty and the staff was super friendly and attentive."

Yelper Anita H. added, “Great service, great space, great beer, great food. What more can you ask for?"

Head on over to check it out: Seven Stills is open from 5–10 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday, noon–10 p.m. on Thursday, noon–11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
