A new spot to score cupcakes and more has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Molly’s Cupcakes, the new addition is located at 1150 S. Wabash Ave.

Molly’s Cupcakes has a variety of cupcake and icing flavors, including vegan cupcakes. The menu features red velvet cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes and more.

With a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Susan W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 24, wrote, "I had the strawberry shortcake and the cake part was delicious and moist and not too sweet. The filling tasted more like strawberry sauce than fresh strawberries but was also tasty."

Yelper Janet E. added, “I tried the peach cobbler, creme brûlée, peanut butter Nutella and the Ron Bennington. They were all good! I came back the next day and then a few days after that. I have a serious cupcake addiction now!"

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Molly’s Cupcakes is open from 8 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
