Get dim sum and more at Castro's new Dumpling HousePhoto: Cherylynn N./Yelp

A new Asian fusion and dim sum restaurant has opened for business in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to the Castro, called Dumpling House, is located at 335 Noe St.

Taking over the storefront of Vietnamese eatery Pho 335, Dumpling House offers a full menu of Chinese dishes in a casual sit-down setting. As the name suggests, this spot specializes in dumplings, and it serves up more than a dozen varieties of fried and steamed dumplings, pot stickers and buns. Check out the black truffle xiaolongbao, the pork dumplings with sweet corn, the steamed spinach dumplings and the barbecue pork buns. Other menu items include noodle dishes and shareables, like chicken wings, turnip cakes and spring rolls. To drink, there is a selection of craft beer, wine and sake.

Dumpling House has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 40 reviews on Yelp.

Mandy W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 9, wrote, "Service is very friendly and welcoming. All in all, this is gonna be my new Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood."

Yelper Olive R. noted, "Wonderful handmade dumplings"

Head on over to check it out: Dumpling House is open from 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5–9:30 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on weekends.
