If pizza is what you're after, look no further: There's a new MidiCi outpost in town, located at 728 K St. in Downtown.

MidiCi specializes in wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, which is made with non-GMO flour imported from Naples, pure water, sea salt and live yeast, according to the restaurant's website

Specialty pizzas include shrimp scampi, truffle and prosciutto and chicken pesto. The menu also features meat and cheese plates, wood-fired calzones, penne vodka pasta and Italian gelato.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 43 reviews on Yelp so far, MidiCi seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Stephanie T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 5, wrote, "The pizza was perfect. The crust was chewy, had black char marks from the wood fire blasts, the sauce was flavorful and not overpowering. Everything was well-balanced and exactly what my heart and soul desired."

And Robbie G. wrote, "The location and reasonable prices alone would be enough for me to frequent Midici, but the pizza is excellent as well."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: MidiCi is open from 11:30 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
