Looking to chow down on some Italian fare? A new restaurant has you covered. The fresh arrival to North Dallas, called Speranza, is located at 18204 Preston Road, Suite E-1.

According to the business' Facebook page, Speranza provides a "chef-driven menu with a unique blend of new contemporary and creative flair," and serves items inspired by the cuisines found in southern and central Italy. On the menu, expect to see items like spinach fettuccine with grilled chicken, penne pasta in spicy arrabbiata sauce, shrimp linguine, veal scaloppini and a list of wood-fired pizzas.

The fresh arrival has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Jac C., who was the first Yelper to review the new eatery on Sept. 8, wrote, "Wow, this place is great! The food tastes very authentic, made with quality ingredients, and is packed with flavor."

Yelper Derrick B. added, “The flavors are built and layered expertly. The veal sausage is made in-house. ... The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable with very tasteful decor."
