A new cocktail bar, venues and event space and Mexican spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Sheffield Neighbors, called Old Pueblo Cantina, is located at 1200 W. Webster Ave.

Inspired by the flavors of Arizona and Sonora, Mexico, Old Pueblo Cantina serves up enchiladas, chimichangas and tacos. The menu features tropical guacamole with red mango, pineapple, jicama and cilantro; Lobster and corn chile relleno; and a roasted vegetable taco platter. Margaritas, mezcal, wine and beer are also on offer.

With a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival has been warmly received by patrons.

Jill R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 31, wrote, "We ended up eating our dinner there — spicy guacamole, pork and steak tacos. The service was impeccable! Everyone was super friendly, quick to take our order and quick to bring out our drinks/food."

Yelper Brian C. added, “For being open for only a couple weeks, the food is outrageously good. Literally, the free chips and salsa — quite different than other places — is probably the best I've had to date. Guacamole and ground beef tacos were awesome as well!”

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Old Pueblo Cantina is open from 4:30–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 4:30–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 4:30–9 p.m. on Sunday.
