Hungry? A new neighborhood Sichuan spot has you covered. The fresh arrival to Chinatown, called Shu Tin Xia, is located at 2428 S. Wallace St.

Shu Tin Xia has a variety of Chinese and hotpot dishes. On the menu, look for fried shrimp, scallion pancakes and sour and spicy clear noodles.

Shu Tin Xia has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp.

Eda X., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 4, wrote, "They provide an extensive selection of hot pot, mala chili meat and nonspicy dishes, all of which are made with a punch of flavor and authenticity. Give them a try!"

And Bill T. wrote, "Really great! Good for a person like me who comes from Hunan and could not live without pepper."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Shu Tin Xia is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
