A new brewpub has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to the West End, called Best End Brewing Company, is located at 1036 White St. SW.

This recently opened establishment is still refining its menus. The early list of beer selections included Slippers (American rye pale ale), Slabtown Pils (Czech pilsner), Man of War (Vienna lager) and more. Mussels, clams and oysters were all available on this spot's sample menu.

With a four-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer is getting solid feedback from clientele.

Wyatt M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 24, wrote, "All the beers are on point! The Anxiety Pils and Lack of Focus were my favorites. This spot also served the best chicken wings I've had in a while."

And Peter T. wrote, "This is a great space! The food was delicious. We went light and had a meat and cheese plate along with some squid and octopus."

Best End Brewing Company is now open, so head on over to check it out. It is open from 4 p.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-11 p.m. on Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday).
