The Lower East Side gets a new tea room: Prince Tea HousePhoto: Prince Tea House/Yelp

Looking for a new tea room to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. Called Prince Tea House, the fresh addition is located at 134 Bowery on the Lower East Side.

This is the sixth location of Prince Tea House, the local mini-chain with tea rooms in Flushing, on the Upper East Side and elsewhere. Like Prince Tea House's other outposts, the Bowery spot offers dozens of green, black, herbal, fruit and milk teas imported from France.

Try one of the signature cold drinks, such as the lavender green milk tea or the matcha slush. Prince Tea House also offers a full menu of desserts like crepe cakes, cheesecakes, waffles and more, and there's a selection of savory snacks, salads and sandwiches, too.

The new arrival has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 23 reviews on Yelp.

Mei Qin Z., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 25, wrote, "The food and drinks are amazing!"

Yelper Jenny C. added, “I love the decorations, the variety of tea options and especially the green tea ice cream."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Prince Tea House is open from 11 a.m.–midnight on Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
