SYN Bar & Taqueria + Pizzeria

SYN Bar & Taqueria + Pizzeria is a cocktail bar, offering pizza, tacos and more.

This new business specializes in a build-your-own taco and pizza bar, according to its website. On the menu, look for pizza topped with hot honey pepperoni, vegetarian tacos, along with margaritas and draft beer. 

With a 3.5-star Yelp rating out 25 reviews, SYN Bar & Taqueria + Pizzeria is still finding its way, but it's early days.

Yelper Perry E., who reviewed SYN Bar & Taqueria + Pizzeria on Sept. 2, wrote, "Syn has been a good edition the neighborhood, overall.Syn features both a taco menu and a pizza menu for food, with good beer and margarita selections for drinks.The pizza menu is another story. It tasted like someone slapped some toppings on focaccia bread and threw it in the oven."

Lauren A. noted, "There is an outdoor patio with lots of seating and a few games. The beer list is pretty tasty. The cider is also pretty good, not too too sweet. We also got a few appetizers, including hummus, nachos, salsa and pierogies."

Yelper Bob L.. added, "They're offering a great selection of a dozen of their own beers. They also serve Pennsylvania spirits and wine. There's also a nice selection of food, many of them baked in their brick oven."

Guapo

Finally, Guapo is a bar and New Mexican spot.

This new business specializes in Northern New Mexican fare, according to its website. On the menu, look for slow-braised beef tacos, enchiladas and shredded chicken burritos. Margaritas, pina coladas, martinis and more are also on offer. 

Yelp users are excited about Guapo, which currently holds five stars out of four reviews on the site.

Yelper Rafia A., wrote, "I ordered the shrimp tacos and they came with refried beans and fried potatoes. The shrimp tacos were full of flavor and the salsa on it was delicious. All in all, a great place to grab food if you're at Federal Galley."  

Guapo is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday, 10 a.m.–midnight on Saturday and 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
