A new addition to Seminole Heights, Ground Foods Cafe is an Italian, vegetarian and vegan spot that's located at 6428 N. Florida Ave.
"Ground Foods Cafe is a fast casual vegetarian eatery. Our concept focuses on plant based, Italian food and natural Italian wines and beer," notes the business's website.
Expect to find a variety of pasta dishes—including Margherita mascarpone with marinara, roasted garlic, fresh basil and a cashew mascarpone—that can made with gluten-free pasta. Other items range from gluten-free truffle potato wedges to a gluten-free pumpkin pie.
Tampa Pizza Company
Tampa Pizza Company is a spot to score chicken wings, pizza and wraps, that recently opened at 4110 Henderson Blvd. in Palma Ceia West.
Per the business's Facebook page, "Specializing in pizzas, we also offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and more. Our South Tampa location has full liquor and offers delivery."
The menu features more than 25 specialty pizzas, ranging from Hawaiian luau (bacon, pineapple and red onion) to Bollywood (infused masala marinara, feta, marinated chicken, spinach and chili flakes) to very vegan (crimini mushrooms, roasted garlic and soy cheese).
The Poké Company
The Poké Company is a spot to score poke and more, that recently opened its doors at 1208 E. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 116 in Channel District.
Get your poke fix at this eatery offering build-your-own bowls. Start off with a base of cauliflower rice, white rice or greens.
