A new addition to Paradise Valley, Matt’s Big Breakfast is a breakfast and brunch spot that's located at 13610 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 1. With a four-star Yelp rating out of seven reviews, it is off to a positive start with locals.

Now open at 5345 N. Seventh Ave. in Alhambra is Corner On The Market, a bakery, offering coffee and tea, sandwiches and more. Yelpers are liking the new addition, which currently holds a 4.5-star rating out of two reviews.

Customers can start their day a variety of toast options, including cream cheese, pesto and pine nuts, or topped with egg, queso, bacon and green chile. Bamboo Sushi

At 2502 E. Camelback Road, Suite 119, you'll find the latest outpost of Bamboo Sushi, the sushi bar and cocktail bar chain with locations in Portland and Denver.  With a 4.5-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp so far, the new restaurant seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

All of the food at Bamboo Sushi is "sustainably caught,  humanely raised and naturally grown," according to its website. On the menu, there are salads, poke bowls and steamed buns. For sushi, you'll get signature rolls like the Garden of Eden, which includes spicy MSC albacore, cucumber and apple, topped with tuna tataki, basil, pickled mustard seeds and yuzu vinaigrette, as well as nigiri and sashimi.

Try the new business from 4:30–9 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 4:30–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
