The local chapter of Goodwill has opened a thrift store on the first floor of its Post Street complex, a 1914 Spanish revival building where it moved its headquarters nearly two years ago. The new shop features a curated selection of secondhand goods, focusing on clothing and fashion items. Sales benefit the organization's mission, which centers on helping people who are out of work for reasons of incarceration, homelessness, job displacement and other disadvantages.

With a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp, the new Goodwill store has received positive attention.

Yelper Dbear T., who reviewed it on Oct. 27, wrote, "Nice selection of on-trend clothing. Almost everything was on-trend and doesn't require the digging you need to do at other, regular Goodwills."

Kenny L. added, "There's really good deals to be had here."

Goodwill is open from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. daily.
