A new Himalayan/Nepalese spot, offering desserts and noodles, has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Melting Pot, the new arrival is located at 344 Huron Ave. in West Cambridge.

Melting Pot serves up curries, stir-fries, soups and more. On the menu, expect to see items like lentil dal soup, chicken mushroom curry and basil shrimp. 

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Melting Pot has been warmly received by patrons.

Steve H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 8, wrote, "We had a delightful dinner at Melting Pot. The menu is Nepali, which is similar to Indian -- we had Dhal soup, spinach & cheese Mou-Mous (dumplings), and chicken and mushroom curry. Everything was delicious."
