On Saturday, January 18, an impressive lineup of speakers and performers united to kick off the Women’s March in San Francisco — the fourth edition of the event, which was founded in the wake of Donald Trump's election to the presidency.

With the theme of "Together We Rise," the peaceful demonstration of solidarity and action drew around 10,000 protesters to Civic Center Plaza, according to an SFPD officer on site.

After a rally led by Mayor London Breed and featuring a lineup of speakers from around the city, the crowd marched down Market Street to the Embarcadero.
