A new vegetarian, New American and vegan spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Called The Wild Cow, the new addition is located at 1100 Fatherland St., Suite 104 in East End.

The Wild Cow specializes in an entirely vegan menu including salads, tacos, sandwiches and more. On the menu, expect to see items like Buffalo tempeh strips, lentil bowls and chipotle seitan tacos.

The Wild Cow has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 935 reviews on Yelp.

Matthew B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 28, wrote, "We ordered the vegan queso and a small Caesar salad. Portions on both were more than enough. I ordered the French dip. It was very tasty and had a good spice to it. Service was timely and courteous. Definitely recommend to my vegan friends."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: The Wild Cow is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Tuesday.)
