New Middle Eastern spot Rina debuts in Poncey-Highland

Hungry? A new neighborhood Middle Eastern spot has you covered. The fresh arrival to Poncey-Highland, called Rina, is located at 699 Ponce de Leon Ave., Suite #9.

This spot is able to accommodate private events. You'll find a variety of different platters on the menu including the beef kebab and sea bass platters. Try the hummus here for a starter and the Tahini chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

The new cocktail bar has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of 23 reviews on Yelp.

Kashfia E., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 31, wrote, "I had the hummus with beef on top for $10. The hummus is super creamy and the beef is very flavorful. It was served with two pieces of fresh pita bread and some salad items."

And Helena W. wrote, "The chicken was so tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly with caramelized onions, green onions, peppers and rice!"

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Rina is open from 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon–8 p.m. on Sunday.
