There's a brand-new brewery in town. The new arrival to Washington Hill, called Ministry of Brewing, is located at 1900 E. Lombard St.

The brewery offers a taproom with 32 rotating taps and 53-foot barrel ceilings. On the menu, expect to see items like its hard cider, along with The Point, a Czech-style pilsner and the Old Maude, a brown ale.

With a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer has gotten a decent response, but it's early days.

Yelper Madi B. wrote, “The beautiful architecture and artwork is awe-inspiring. It's a great place to drink, but the beer is mediocre. I enjoyed my Wispy, the pale ale, but the 754, West Coast IPA, was disappointing."

And David B. added, "The staff is extremely friendly and it's a great atmosphere with cornhole, Jenga and other games to pass the time with friends. If all else fails, you're drinking inside a church and that's exciting on its own."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Ministry of Brewing is open from noon–10 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
