Score dim sum and more at Streeterville's new Minghin CuisinePhoto: Jeff L./Yelp

A new Cantonese and Asian fusion spot, offering dim sum and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. The new addition to Streeterville, called MingHin Cuisine, is located at 215 E. Ohio St.

MingHin Cuisine offers a variety of dim sum options. On the menu, expect to see items like shrimp dumplings, stuffed sticky rice and short ribs with pepper sauce. According to the business's Facebook page, "MingHin is a large contemporary authentic Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant with delightful modern décor in the heart of Chicago’s Streeterville."

With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Jeff L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 3, wrote, "Beautiful buildout of the place that used to be Emilio's Tapas, which never seemed to have any customers. Based on how much we love the Chinatown and Benton locations, we've been eagerly."

Yelper Annie H. added, “MingHin never really disappoints.”

And Hungry G. wrote, "This is the dim sum spot for the area. Excellent service, excellent food and the decor look upscale without the price."

Head on over to check it out: MingHin Cuisine is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on weekends.
