Wondering where to find the best arcades near you?

1. Shorty's

First up is Belltown's Shorty's, situated at 2316 Second Ave. (between Battery and State Route 99 streets). With four stars out of 636 reviews on Yelp, the dive bar and arcade, which offers hot dogs and more, has proved to be a local favorite for those looking for an affordable option.

"Shorty's was always about the arcade vibe, with emphasis on pinball, since it was hard to find a (decent) machine to play in those days," per the history section of its Yelp profile. "Originally the game and bar area were the same, but over the years, we have added space dedicated just to pinball, so the drinkers and the players have their own space."

2. Flip Flip, Ding Ding

Flip Flip, Ding Ding, an arcade and bar in Georgetown, is another much-loved, cheap go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 44 Yelp reviews. Head over to 6012 12th Ave. South (between Vale and Harney streets) to see for yourself.

In addition to games, the business  offers "beer, cider, non-alcoholic options and some basic pre-packaged snacks," it states on Yelp in the section explaining specialties.

3. The Raygun Lounge

Over in Capitol Hill, check out The Raygun Lounge, which has earned four stars out of 94 reviews on Yelp. Dig in at the arcade and lounge, which offers tabletop games and more, by heading over to 501 E. Pine St. (between Summit and Belmont avenues).

"Beer and wine, pizza and arcades, D&D and other dice-rolling opportunities await you at Gamma Ray Games' Raygun Lounge, a full-service tabletop game lounge featuring large, spacious well-lit tables, great ambiance and comfortable seating for up to 60 people," it writes on Yelp in the section highlighting specialties.
