A new Mexican spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 508 W Ave. in downtown Austin, the new addition is called Taquero Mucho.

Taquero Mucho offers a feminine twist on tacos in an environment with pink decor. Menu items include elote, sopes, salads and tacos. Try popular tacos like the carnitas, crispy shrimp or grilled poblano peppers. Wash them down with a strong paloma or a passion fruit margarita.

Taquero Mucho has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp.

Brenda E., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 11, wrote, "Instagrammer's dream! The place is so adorable. Pink vibes everywhere. I started with signature pink margarita, which was just perfect. Not too sweet and strong. Craft mezcal cocktails were delicious too! ... I'm definitely returning for a girl's night out with my friends."

Yelper Estrada Mendez. shared, "I have tried every single one of their tacos and they all have such a unique and delicious taste. My favorite ones are the carnitas tacos — pork shredded meat very tasty and juicy. My second favorite ones are the crispy shrimp tacos; they come with a creamy chipotle salsa and cabbage salad."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Taquero Mucho is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Thursday-Sunday.
