A person has been hospitalized after a two-alarm fire broke out early Thursday morning at a Tenderloin parking garage. 

The blaze started around 2:32 a.m. in the garage and a sub-basement at 64 Golden Gate Ave. (and Jones). SFFD spokesperson Jonathan Baxter said the cause of the fire was unclear, and it remains under investigation.

One victim, who sustained moderate injuries from smoke inhalation, was transported to a local hospital. Baxter said no residents were displaced.

The victim was rescued by firefighters from Engine 3, which is located at Fire Station 3 at Post and Polk streets. The fire was contained less than an hour after it broke out, at 3:10 a.m.
