Local fans of convenience stores are in luck. A new 7-Eleven outpost has opened its doors at 504 K St. NW in Mount Vernon Square.

The spot offers an ATM and also features a self-checkout. It sells everything from snacks to Slurpees and from clothing brushes to olive oil. It also includes a taco shop with hand-rolled tortillas. Specialty coffees, cold-pressed juices and soft-serve ice cream are also on offer.

With a four-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, The new locale is garnering solid feedback from clientele.

Jerome S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 27, wrote, "This 7-Eleven is one of the famous brand's new 'concept' stores, and it does not disappoint. It offers more than your usual 7-Eleven and includes a made-to-order taco bar that opens at 5 a.m."

Yelper Gustavo L. added, “The best 7-Eleven store I have ever seen. It has a very good curated selection of items with everything you would expect (chips, soda, doughnuts, Slurpees, etc.) and a number of higher-end items you would not expect.”

Head on over to check it out: 7-Eleven is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
