New Hawaiian spot Hapa Hawaiian Grill debuts in BluffPhoto: Jon P./Yelp

Hungry? A new neighborhood Hawaiian spot has you covered. The fresh addition to Bluff, called Hapa Hawaiian Grill, is located at 1334 Fifth Ave.

Hapa Hawaiian Grill offers fast-casual Hawaiian-inspired cuisine, with menu items ranging from mahi mahi tempura to salmon poke bowls to grilled ahi steak sandwiches.

The newcomer has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.

Nancy C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 14, wrote, "I tried the loco moco bowl, which is basically a hamburger patty over rice with gravy. It's a Hawaiian staple that you can find all over the Hawaiian Islands. They definitely have it right, and I loved it. The gravy, especially, made it."

Yelper Michael D. added, “The portions were enormous, and the flavors were great. The teriyaki beef and chicken katsu were out of sight. My wife loved the Asian slaw."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Hapa Hawaiian Grill is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
