Hungry? A new neighborhood Chinese eatery has you covered. Located at 3011 Gulden Lane in Trinity Groves, the fresh arrival is called Sum Dang Good Chinese.

Sum Dang Good Chinese provides its own contemporary interpretation of classic Chinese fare, as noted on its Facebook page. The menu features a variety of Asian-inspired appetizers like edamame, sweet seaweed salad and chicken lettuce wraps, assorted dumplings and buns, soups, hand-pulled noodle dishes and entrees such as kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, Sichuan pork, honey walnut prawns and eggplant with garlic sauce.

The newcomer has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of 12 reviews on Yelp.

DJ S., who was among the first Yelpers to review Sum Dang Good Chinese on April 4, wrote, "Right or wrong, the name says it all. This is the best Chinese food I've eaten in Dallas. It's not swimming in grease, everything is fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had vegetable egg rolls that were out of this world."

Yelper Chelsea W. added, “Food was pretty dang good! The house fried rice is epic, and I love that they have a combo for the dumplings — just in case you wanted to try all of them! Orange chicken actually has an orange flavor, which is amazing, and it actually is cooked well."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Sum Dang Good Chinese is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.
