Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best high-end steakhouses in Chicago, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to fill the bill.
1. Maple & Ash
Topping the list is Maple & Ash. Located at 8 W. Maple St. (between Dearborn and State streets.) in the Near North, the steakhouse and breakfast and brunch spot, which offers seafood and more, is the most popular high-end steakhouse in Chicago, boasting 4.5 stars out of 1,304 reviews on Yelp. The menu also offers macaroni and cheese.
2. Prime & Provisions
Next up is the Loop's Prime & Provisions, situated at 222 N. LaSalle St. With 4.5 stars out of 1,137 reviews on Yelp, the steakhouse and traditional American spot, serving seafood and more, has proven to be a local favorite. Don't miss the crab cake on the menu.
As to what the business is known for, "Prime & Provisions celebrates the simplicity of true steakhouse cuisine and prides itself on its' mission: To source the absolute best domestic beef available in the United States," it writes on Yelp in the section about specialties.
3. Steak 48
The Near North's Steak 48, located at 615 N. Wabash Ave. (between Ohio and Ontario streets), is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the fancy steakhouse and bar, which offers seafood and more, 4.5 stars out of 643 reviews. Look for meatballs and sautéed shrimp on the menu.

4. Evita Argentinian Steakhouse
