If you're after ice cream and frozen yogurt, look no further than this new business. Called Mount Granita Italian Ice, the new addition is located at 2024 Murray Hill Road in University District.

Mount Granita Italian Ice offers Italian ice in various flavors, such as lemon, mojito, watermelon, cantaloupe, mixed berry, coconut and mango. According to the business's Facebook page, "Benvenuti a tutti! Nestled in historic Little Italy, our seasonal walk-up stand is bringing small batch fresh fruit Italian ice back to the neighborhood. Our Italian ice is always made with 100% fresh fruit, cane sugar and reverse osmosis water."

With a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival has already made a good impression.

Rachel N., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 6, wrote, “The BEST Italian ice I have ever had! I was welcomed by the friendly owners, and they were very informative and fun to chat with. Their cart was ADORABLE! My favorite flavors are cantaloupe and watermelon. ALL of the flavors are delicious though. Definitely a Cleveland staple!"

Yelper Tasty Food Seeker noted, "Absolutely delicious! Ice has a smooth, soft texture. Various sizes offered for sale; it could get pricey if you go really large, but the taste was worth it! I'll be back for more, and it's great to see this local business start-up. Support them!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Mount Granita Italian Ice is open from 5 p.m.–9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and noon–9 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed from Sunday through Wednesday.)
