The Metropolitan Police Department is currently seeking the public's help to identify three individuals connected to a retail theft that occurred in Northwest Washington. According to a police report, the incident took place on July 24, at a store in the 3100 block of 14th Street NW. The suspects are accused of stealing merchandise and, during their escape, one of them allegedly assaulted a female. The offenders then managed to flee the scene.

As documented by the Metropolitan Police Department's release, the theft took place at approximately 10:00 a.m. on the reported date. The female victim, who was assaulted as the suspects were making their way out of the store, has declined medical treatment. The authorities are now reaching out to anyone who may be able to provide information on these individuals. Furthermore, the MPD has released surveillance images to aid in the identification of the suspects.

The details of the theft and assault are still being investigated, and the MPD has not released specific information regarding the value or nature of the merchandise that was stolen. The authorities are currently examining video footage and other evidence that could help to swiftly catch the suspects.
