An armed robbery took place in Redwood City, sparking concern among locals. Yesterday, the Redwood City Police Department was called to the Arguello Street and D Street vicinity following reports of a crime that rattled the area.
According to the Redwood City Police Department, at around 1:00 P.M., multiple individuals became victims of a robbery, where 3-4 suspects brandishing handguns demanded jewelry and other valuables. During this bold daylight robbery, a gun was discharged, but no one sustained a gunshot wound or serious injuries.
The incident, which ended with the suspects fleeing in a dark-colored SUV and leaving the scene before law enforcement arrived, has heightened anxiety in the community. The Redwood City Police Department is actively investigating the case and searching for the suspects, who were still at large when the initial investigation started.
