Public Help Sought to Identify Man Found Deceased in San José Storage TrailerSource: County of Santa Clara

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office is seeking public assistance in identifying a man found deceased earlier this summer. The body was discovered on June 27 within the confines of a storage trailer that sat in the parking lot of a since-shuttered business on Del Franco Street in San José.

According to the County of Santa Clara official report, he was estimated to be around 56 years old, standing 6 feet tall, and of average weight. Unfortunately, due to postmortem changes, the man's physical features are largely unidentifiable, leaving his hair and eye color unknown and obscuring any identifying marks, such as tattoos or scars, that he may have had.

The man was clad in a black or purple zip-up jacket with a possible blue undershirt below, paired with black or purple winter pants, and under those, a layer of dark-colored jeans, his attire finished with thick black socks.

Anyone with information that might lead to this gentleman's identification is urged to contact the ME-C’s Office Investigations Unit. They can be reached directly by phone at 408-793-1900 extension 3.
