Want to learn more about tenant rights and resources?

In conjunction with APICC's United States of Asian America Festival 2016, the visual art exhibit RESISTANCE is partnering with the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project, San Francisco Tenants Union and Eviction Free San Francisco to describe their methods and collaborations in fighting evictions.

They will contextualize their oral history project, showcase multiple maps related to the current eviction crisis plaguing the Bay Area and will utilize multiple narratives to learn about the complex present day situations.

The Anti-Eviction Mapping Project is a data visualization, data analysis, and oral history telling collective documenting the displacement and resistance of Bay Area residents in contexts of gentrification.

The Tenants Union offers counseling to tenants facing eviction in San Francisco and Eviction Free San Francisco is a mutual aid collective that correlates direct actions with tenants facing displacement so that they can remain in their homes.

Join us to learn more about our project, find ways to plug in. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Event will take place in the gallery space at SOMArts located at 934 Brannon St. San Francisco.
