From the organizer

Mad Max: Silent Fury - the post-apocalyptic, dystopian blockbuster set in the furthest reaches of a broken desert landscape where humanity is a forgotten neccessity in the struggle for survival. It is a re-edited, Silent and shown in black & white with a completely original electronic score written and performed by The Firmament live in a rare one night only engagement.

The Firmament is a San Francisco electronic music duo Renzo Gorrio (IDP / Intelligent Dance Party, Snap Judgment) and Marky Ray (Brass Tax, Echo Space). Using synths, acid lines, drum machines and audio samples from the movie they will provide a musical narrative to this action packed run through a desert full of thunderstorms, tornadoes, psychotic villains, frankensteined muscle cars, and a drifter named named Max.

Director George Miller has always thought about a black and white version of his Mad Max story since The Road Warrior was filmed in the 80s. While filming Fury Road, Miller noticed a lot of the film's nuances in Black and White made it a better movie.

Advance Tickets: $15

For optimal enjoyment of this movie, black & white dress is HIGHLY encouraged.
