Thank you to everyone that came out to our party at Place Pigalle on Wednesday night. We had a blast meeting all of you and hearing your thoughts and suggestions about what you want to see in the neighborhood and from the blog.
At one point there were 120 of you there, and from our account, only one broken glass. Our DJ, Manuel Gonzalez, was so popular with the growing crowd that the bar staff is trying to convince him to spin every week. Way to rock it out, Manuel! And if that wasn't enough, the folks from Schulzies Bread Pudding not only brought their "A" game staff, but also 5 of their most popular flavors which ran out early. We really liked the amaretto. Let us know what you thought of our little shindig, and maybe we'll throw another party in the near future. Until then, keep sending us your tips and story suggestions. Thanks again to Corey and Barry of Place Pigalle, DJ Manuel Gonzalez, Schulzies Bread Pudding and, last but not least, all of you for making it a fantastic night. Cheers! If you want to see pics from the party, click here. Just do so softly and quietly. Our heads still hurt a bit.
