Colin Meloy & Carson Ellis Visit BooksmithFacebook/Wildwood Chronicles
Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis, also known, respectively, as the Decemberists' lead singer and a superstar illustrator, will be at Booksmith next Monday, February 3rd. Mark your calendars.

That's right: indie-folk-indie-art's most beguiling couple and all-around good people will be reading from, talking about, and signing copies of the third installment in the Wildwood Chronicles, Wildwood Imperium. The new book continues an epic, Lewis-esque romp through an alternate Portland, Oregon, complete with animal armies, an evil queen, a kick-ass heroine, ancient enmities and dastardly evil.
The reading starts at 7 PM, and you're asked to RSVP by buying a $5 store credit right over here. The new book, which releases next week and is delightful, looks like this:
So if you're enamored, envious, curious or intrigued, snap up a ticket and head over. We also work at the Booksmith, so of course we'll see you there.
