Divisadero Art Walk Is This ThursdaySan Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development
Surprise! Another Divisadero Art Walk is happening March 27th.

It's been almost four months since our last Divisadero Art Walk, and we're itching to see what local merchants and vendors have in store for us. Here's what we've dug up so far:

Yoga Garden (286 Divisadero) will be handing out $5 off coupons for drop-in-classes, and will be serving tea and refreshments.

Little Chihuahua (292 Divisadero) is doing their usual $3 tacos and $3 pints.

Onyx Boutique (289 Divisadero) is hosting a new series of work from artist Aleksandra Zee that simply must be checked out. They'll also be offering 10% off their awesome merchandise, and after many requests are bringing back their popular Obey sample sale.

Vinyl (359 Divisadero) will have their pop-up PizzaHacker craft pizza with a few drink specials available.

Madrone Art Bar (500 Divisadero) will of course have McKlucky's Bar on view.

Bi-Rite (550 Divisadero) will be doing a "Microbrew & Microbatch" beer tasting with Magnolia Brewery, featuring their 'Proving Ground IPA', a cask-conditioned American-style India Pale Ale.

They'll also be offering samples of their limited-edition orange blossom ice cream with candied citrus peel and pistachios. For $5 you can get a sundae special of orange blossom ice cream, brownie, fudge and house-made whipped cream (yum).

Rare Device (600 Divisadero) has some really cool slingshots in stock by artist Adam Gray, and will be serving up refreshments.

San Francisco Skate Club (635A Divisadero) will have 13 one-of-a kind hand-painted decks by mastermind Pete Doolittle as well as live T-shirt screen printing and prints for sale. Bring your own shirt and get it silk screened for $10! More info and Facebook event page here

Mojo Cafe (639 Divisadero) will be hosting their regular wildly popular Rice Paper Scissors pop-up

Hunted (843 Divisadero) is offering 10% their elaborate collection of vintage jewelry.

Big Umbrella Studios (906 Divisadero Street) is exhibited "IM-pressed", a group show of local Bay Area printmakers. They'll be doing live screen printing and selling affordable works on paper, accompanied by music and refreshments

This time around The Bold Italic will be tagging along on Divisadero's Art Walk with their Microhood event, which will bring corporate sponsors Google Shopping Express and Chevrolet to the event, plus free schwag, an empanada truck and a photo booth. They're also offering participants the chance to "win a fully stocked Hubert's Lemonade mini-fridge for your office for a month," if you're into that kind of thing.

We hope to see you at the Art Walk this Thursday, which loosely runs from late afternoon to 11pm or so. It's always an excellent opportunity to get to know your fellow neighbors, see art by San Francisco artists, and support and celebrate our brilliant local businesses.
