Another Overnight Flood On WallerPhoto: Molly H.
Prepare yourself for a wet and wild déjà vu, as there was another flood on Waller Street early this morning.

Reader Molly H. sent in some photos from the scene.  A friend texted her around 2:40am saying, "Been hearing water gushing for last 20 mins... Street flooding in same spot [as] two wks ago."

This morning we went out and surveyed the scene.  Indeed it appears that the deluge originated on the same block of Waller – between Scott and Divisadero – as the March 11th water main break, which brought a torrent of mud and debris (and news crews) all the way down to Haight Street.  But the source of this break is actually a couple of doors east of that incident.

As of 8:20am, crews had excavated a large hole in the street, and water was streaming down Waller to Scott and beyond.

Could this be savvy marketing for the new movie "Noah," or just old San Francisco infrastructure finally giving up?  Probably the latter.

Whatever it is, we're not loving it.
