You Wish Divisadero Had...Photo: Nuala Sawyer / Hoodline
Last week, with so much empty real estate on the market on Divisadero, we asked you what you'd like to see in our neighborhood. A good numbers of readers rose to the occasion and shared what they hoped would open on Divis.
Here's what we learned.

Out of the 44 individual commenters who posted as of this morning:

  • 14% wanted a gym
  • 14% want a sports bar
  • 7% want "affordable food"
  • 7% want a bakery
  • 5% want a bookstore

Keeping with San Francisco's love of Asian food:

  • 5% want a Chinese restaurant
  • 5% want a Vietnamese restaurant
  • 5% want a Burmese restaurants (preferably Burma Superstar)

Other wish-list items included:

"a bird store" - The Weeping Cheeto
"An affordable art supply store. I know, it'll never happen but that's what I'd like." - InSF23Years
"A microbrewery with a repertory movie house attached." - Chris Jones
"A shoe repair shop" - Samismydog

Do any of these surprise you? Anything big that you'd like to see open up that's missing from this list?
