Scenes From The Haight Ashbury Street FairPhotos: Amy Stephenson/Hoodline
As usual, yesterday's HASF was a spectacle. We've got the pics to prove it happened.
Alexis and the Planning Department were hustling and getting feedback.

Tiny people shilling for the Green Party.

Merchandise, merchandise, merchandise!

Feather hawk.

Wizards and hippies!

Watching me watching you.

Free Un Virtual Tea Party.

There's a small child under all that tie dye.

Familiar faces ...

... the expected ...

... the usual ...

... and the guy who got lost on his way to Fisherman's Wharf.

Bubble party!

Between the booths.

Team HSM, serving up cherry deliciousness.

Dogs! So many dogs!

"The coolest spot in paradise."

This guy was slaying.

Buyer's Best Friend knows how to get noticed.

At yesterday's festivities,  the cops were out in force. We saw them giving tickets for public nudity (you know the guys who are out every weekend with the glittery wang socks), dumping out people's open containers, and generally making themselves ostentatious at every intersection.

In addition to fewer booths, there seemed to just be fewer people overall. Although, still, there were a lot of people. Things were cleaned up and back to normal by 7pm.

Did we mention there were lots of people?

Were you around yesterday? Tell us what you saw.
