Update, 12:30pm: The Art Walk has been rescheduled to next Thursday, December 18th from 5-10pm due to the upcoming storm. "As much as we'd like to see you tomorrow," stated Big Umbrella Studios, "we want you to be safe and warm!"

The final Divisadero Art Walk of the year is taking place this Thursday evening, and in spite of a fierce forecast, the lineup is looking stellar.
From approximately 5pm-10pm, Divisadero from Haight to Turk will be celebrating a slew of community-based events just in time for the holiday season. Here are a few events on the docket for tomorrow:

  • Madrone is hosting the closing party from 6-9pm for their art show Life After Death, featuring work by Sean Levon Nash and Joaquin Newman.
  • The Perish Trust and The Mill will be banding together for a Holiday Celebration. The plan includes live music, hot cider to chase away the rain, and a "gaggle of local makers" showing their wares.
  • Big Umbrella Studios will be exhibiting a show titled Spiritual Architecture, featuring the work of artists Chris Adams, Owen Brown, Enzo Callot, Lynda Hirose and more.
Sounds like it's gonna be a good one, so pick up your sandbags, put on your rain boots, and we'll see you tomorrow night.
