Former Psychic Shop At 803 Divisadero Up For RentPhotos: RSF
The space formerly occupied by Nina's Psychic Shop at 803 Divisadero is officially up for rent.
Back in December, we covered the closing of the business and the mystery surrounding the psychic who used the space. Odd hours and rumors of people living in the space all culminated the businesses closure, which has been followed by a massive interior demolition that's left the 1,260 square foot space open to the next prospective business.

A Craigslist post for the space advertises it as a "a rare opportunity to lease 1,260 SF on the corner of Divisadero and Fulton." The listing price is $6,000 a month, non-negotiable.

According to Bo Massopust of RSF Real Estate Advisors, the space is owned by the Dajani Group, which owns all of the businesses on the corner of Divisadero and Fulton—Cafe Abir, Tsunami Sushi, Corkage Sake & Wine Shop and Bar 821.

Once the psychic shop moved out, the space was turned into a blank canvas. So far, all interior walls have been demolished, work was done on the ceiling, and the floor had been sandblasted and polished.

Although the Dajani Group manages many restaurant spaces, 803 Divisadero is not set up to be a full-blown restaurant, as it doesn't have the ventilation and permitting required. That said, it could be turned into a coffee shop, a bakery, or any other type of business that doesn't require type 1 permitting. However, with Cafe Abir right next door, chances of yet another Divisadero coffee shop moving into the space are slim.

The space is was formally listed yesterday, and rental signs will be installed this week. "I imagine this will go very quickly," said realtor Massopust. (If you're interested in viewing the space, you can contact Bo Massopust at bo[at]rsfadvisors[dot]com.)

With a blank slate and a hot location, what would you like to see move in to the space? In May of last year an informal Hoodline poll showed that many wanted a gym, a sports bar, or "affordable food" in the neighborhood. Has the wish list changed? Share your thoughts in the comments.
